NCPE Cares for Community
The NCPE Cares for Community Program provides opportunities for parents to provide practical and relevant ways to teach their children the importance of helping others.
Solders' Angels Treats for Troops: The NCPE is collecting undamaged Halloween candy for Soldiers' Angels, who will ensure that the candy is given to troops and veterans. Candy can be dropped off on Thursday, 11.2 and Friday, 11.3 in the collection bins in Grandview and Gould Schools.
Election Day Bake Sale: A portion of the proceeds raised from the Election Day Bake Sale on Tuesday, 11.6, will be donated to Toni's Kitchen in Montclair, NJ. The mission of Toni's Kitchen is to provide food to their neighbors in need in ways that improve health and independence.
Unbridled Heroes Project: The NCPE cares about our veterans! With Veteran's Day approaching, now is a great time to give back to those who have given so much. The Unbridled Heroes Project pairs veterans in need of healing with rescue horses at their Allendale, NJ facility. Please consider supporting them through their Amazon wish list.
Hurricane Harvey Relief: Thank you to all of the families that donated to our adopted family in Texas. Through your generosity, we shipped boxes full of gift cards, clothes, shoes, towels, blankets and other household items! After receiving the donations, the family texted Mrs. Kappock, "Wow! NC Partnership is a fantastic group of people. Will open, sort and put to use ASAP. Words fail me to express our gratitude. I mean holy cow!!!!"
Election Day Bake Sale: Thank you to everyone who baked and supported the election day bake sale. Thanks to your generosity, we donated $550 to victims of the hurricanes.
Holiday Toy Drive: We collected new toys for the children of the Boys and Girls Club. Thank you for making this holiday season brighter.
Pajama Drive: The Grandview School participated in the 9th Annual Scholastic Reading Club Great Bedtime Story Pajama Drive. Thank you to those who donated.
School Supplies Drive: NCPE Cares about our neighbors! The St. Philip School in Clifton had a fire and many of their school supplies were destroyed. The NCPE collected donations of new dry erase markers, mini whiteboards and dry erase erasers. Thank you to all who donated.
